What can I do to get some volume on top, it just lays down flat

I use saloon gel and mouse, but it is just no body.

If you don't already have layers, it would do wonders. Blow drying it the right way is also a big key. Use a round brush, separate your hair into sections and blow dry near the root under neath your hair.

try a thickening gel...make sure you use a volumizing shampoo. Paul michell has a grerat root lifter that adds volume @ the top so that will work for you. If you use a big culrling iron, hold it about an inch above your head to lift and creat volume...
