It is tomorrow (Friday) evening. My hair is medium length-about to the middle of my shoulder blades. The wedding isn't super formal or anything. I am wearing a sleeveless v-neck dress (black %26amp; cream patterned) if it matters....
I need something quick to do with my hair becuase the wedding starts @ 6:30 %26amp; I get off work at 5!
Please help with any suggestions!
How should I do my hair for this wedding reception?
I suggest simply curling your hair. Using a 2 inch barrel iron, start with the bottom layers of hair and curl, with the barrel pointed strait up. You will get some really nice waves. Make sure to hairspray lightly before curling each chunk so your curls stay. Then mist over the entire style once finished. If you want to wear your hair down, get a cute black headband and you're all set. However, when your hair is down, it is more likely to go limp, even when it has been curled. So, pull your hair into a half pony and fasten with a pretty barrette. The look is so classic and very pretty, showing off your facial features and your hair (it looks very volumous and wavy!).
Good luck and have fun at the reception!

I would go with a nice up-do or a half up and half down with a bun. That is what i did at my mothers wedding and everyone loved it! Best of luck to you!

if you have ghds straighten your hair and then twist the straighteners into bits of your hair so it curls them n u have straight hair with random curly bits. it looks really cool but you need to be confident about it
or you could just straighten it or put it in a ponytail with two bits coming down at each side

you should get some bangs cut that go slightly over one of your eyes and pull the rest up and curl in tight curls, as the night goes on, some of your curls will fall.
