Make sure you aren't using too heavy of a conditioner, and that you are rinsing out the conditioner thoroughly.
Also, a touch of mouse applied to the roots and brushed through your hair while you lean your head upside down really helps.

don't use straighteners or curlers too much, as heat can be bad for your hair. And try not too wash your hair too much, as shampoo can sometime flatten hair. Try using a tresemme shampoo and conditioner, which usually helps.
I have really flat hair. Any tips ?
use a curling iron, put it close to your scalp and curl the tinest bit at the top, just so it sits a little higher.
i do this a lot. or if you straighten your hair, curl over the top layers a little.
or tip your head upside-down and striaghten it a bit. i do that too.
or you could use wax, or sprays or any volume shampoo/conditioner.
all these work.
or you could always tease it underneath..another thing i do.

My sister had the same problem but i bought her a shampoo and conditioner called "charles worthigton big hair" I can't rememeber how much exactly it costs but i think it was around 鎷? a bottle but it's well worth it.It thickens and boosts your hair ,leaves it in lovely condition too! You can get it in most stores including Boots.

Perming can help but sometimes it can be tiresome and time-consuming trying to fight against what nature gave you! Better not to fight against it and instead to invest in a really good hairstyle that flatters your hair and face - maybe shorter than you currently have it with lots of choppy layers. A good hairdresser should be able to help. Good luck. xxx

walk around on your hands, your hair won't be flat anymore
I have really flat hair. Any tips ?
try not to use too deep of a conditioner, i found that switching to a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner helped, i use the dove one, its really good. also, if you blow dry it, tip your head over and dry it like that. There are products you can by, i havent tried them myself but look for products that add volume, theres some by VO5!

My hair is long and straight and always flat, the first thing i've learnt is all these products that say they'll thicken or volumise don't work, even the expensive ones. I've used loads and am always dissapointed with the results.
I have taken to drying my hair upside down, first i use a hot heat to give it volume angling the dryer at the roots, when it is dry i press the cold air button (still standing upside down) this will set your hair and keep it volumised for as long as possible.
Really the most effective thing to give your hair volume is to gently backcomb or tease the hair, if you're unsure about how to do this i would suggest looking at some videos on you tube or googling it. This really works and many stylists and celebrities do this, however it is not great for your hair and a pain to comb out.
The only other thing i would suggest it to use your fingers on your scalp to fluff up your hair (it's hard to explain but if your were giving yourself a head massage only faster) this will temporarily give your hair volume, you can try hairspraying this, but if your hair is anything like mine it will get greasy quickly.
If you want a look or permenant volume, i would suggest speaking to your hairdresser, i have layers in my hair which help give the top volume, but short hair is the way forward if you don't want flat hair, as shorter layers halp to volumise flat hair.
I always find my hair is less flat after I have had a proffesional blow dry, so that is the last thing I would suggest, learn to blow dry your hair like your hairdresser does using round brushes as this will certainly give your hair a lift (this is something I really need to master, the hairdressers make it look so easy, there are loads of websites which show you how to do this, I am just lazy!)

Use a root booster by Matrix or hold your hair upright at the tip and straighten your hair tht way

Be happy with your hair. My hair is very very thick and has TONS of volume - I hate it.
With flat hair you can curl, straighten, and do many other styles and it stays put!
Thick, volumised hair is uncontrollable.
People imagine it being lushious and glamourous but it really isn't.
Enjoy having all those style options open to you.
