Can anyone help me reverse the purple look back to a golden brown or dark auburn without the purple.

did you get this done by a professional??? cuz if you did get your money back. to cancel out the purple, use something with a golden undertone. the reason why your hair turned purple is because you have too much of a red undertone. you could even mix together an golden undertone color with an ash undertone color to be on the safe side.

I had this problem when I used just a plain auburn color. When I used blonde it turned my hair orange. My hair doesn't show it's natural red until I color it. I use an ash shade and this eliminates the weird highlights caused by hidden red.
