I think your boyfriend should dye his hair like highlights. Put some orangish/yellowish highlights in his brown hair. That would look pretty cool. Or maybe he could dye his hair a darker brown to make his hair a bit darker. Or, he could dye his hair lighter which would look good too. Maybe he might wanna be exotic and dye his hair some cool color like blue or pink. That would be pretty awesome.

My personal opinion would be not to do it at all, but if you must, I would go with some natural highlights.
